A story shaped by nature

Meet Violine and discover how a childhood rooted in art and nature became one-of-one sea glass jewellery and coastal artwork in Greystones.
About Violine
Originally from France, I moved to Greystones with my husband and young son to be closer to family. I fell in love with the place. It suited my connection to nature, shaped by a childhood on a farm in the French countryside. My mother, Florence, is an artist who collects and assembles different materials to create sculptures. Art and nature have always been part of my upbringing.
Art and nature have always been part of my life.
As a child, I collected treasures from nature. I still do the same today with my three boys.
Creating my art
Every item I create is unique. I collect first, then create a frame or a piece of jewellery in response to the materials in front of me. There are no multiple copies. The piece you choose is one only you will own.
One of one, by nature
I also create custom pieces that can hold personal and sentimental meaning. Every piece is made by me at home in Greystones, County Wicklow—with welcome help from my three sons when it comes to finding sea glass.
